What does it mean to truly live? The last third of life can be filled with twists and turns. It can, at times, feel unpredictable. However, having completed the tasks of building a career and possibly raising a family, this time of life can be filled with freedom and energy, or it can be a time of mere existence.
Embracing Your Personal Journey is a choice for a life that acknowledges the truth that as we, or those we love age, there is a diminishment in capabilities. That does not have to mean a time of quietly sitting in the corner waiting to die. To live is to change. While accepting the changes we all face as we age, there is still a choice of how we live!
This conference is being held via Zoom on Saturday, November 11th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is intended for therapists, addiction professionals, counselors, social workers, nurses, caregivers, spiritual directors, and anyone who wants to increase their knowledge and awareness on how to help those they serve (or love) embrace this journey of life.
