Dr. Bob Harrison is the first person to complete the Spiritual Direction Certification Program at WVIS. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Administration from The American University in Washington DC. It was here that he developed an interest in the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola at Saint Ann's Parish where he completed a Nineteenth Annotation Retreat in Daily Life.

Bob continues to facilitate group spiritual direction in a parish setting, and he especially enjoys directing the Eight-Day Retreat in Daily Life. His ministry in Charleston, West Virginia.

Along with Susie Pace, he also co-edits collections of reflections and prayers, which are circulated internationally and available on the WVIS Web Page.
